A Memorial Service for Adrian Bourgeois of Ormond Beach who passed away on August 16 2009 at the age of 47 will be held on Friday August 21 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach with a reception to follow the service. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon Friday prior to the service. He was born on April 14 1962 in Woodbury NJ. to Edgar L. and Mickey (Harshman) Bourgeois (deceased). His family later relocated to Baton Rouge Louisiana. In May 1996 Adrian married Cynthia (Cindy) Neal. Adrian graduated from Louisiana State University in 1984 with a degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation Adrian worked in sales for Bruning Corporation in Texas and later located to Florida. Adrian an analytical individual started his own financial career with American Express Financial Advisors in Baton Rouge LA. and continued his practice after resettling in Florida with his own franchise. After a career spanning more than ten years Adrian officially retired in 2008. He was tremendously well liked manager and highly respected by those who had the opportunity to work with him. When he wasn't helping clients prepare for the future he could usually be found singing barbershop with his quartet The Surftones and with the Daytona Beach Surfside Chorus. He also enjoyed the laid back lifestyle of Ormond Beach with his family. He lived life to the fullest and allowed those he loved to do the same. Survives include his Wife Cynthia (Cindy); Two Sons Charles Tollios and Garrison Bourgeois of Ormond Beach; his mother-in-law Linda Neal of Ormond Beach; Sister Monique (Bourgeois) Poche; Brother-in-Law Randy Poche and a niece Michelle Poche all of Wilbur by the Sea FL; Brother Joel Bourgeois and sister-in-law Patty (Pisula) Bourgeois of Austin TX; His Father Edgar and his Stepmother Barbara Bourgeois of Baton Rouge LA. The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Florida Hospital Hospice Care 770 West Granada Blvd. Suite 304 Ormond Beach FL 32174.
